Pilgrimage to Mecca
实验室的一个穆斯林兄弟明天要去麦加朝圣了。走之前给大家发了个email, 节选如下：
As you may or may not know I will be leaving tomorrow (Tuesday the 4th) to perform the Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca). Today is my last day of work before leaving. The Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam; the others being belief, 5x daily prayer, fasting in Ramadan and alms-giving. The Hajj retraces the steps of the Prophet Abraham who built the Kabba at Mecca towards which Muslims face while praying. It is a test of patience and a sign that we are all equal before God. I pray that my Hajj is accepted and I return a better person and co-worker. In that vein I would like to ask you all to forgive me if I have offended any of you in anyway.
